By using SkillPilot you accept these terms. The site is operated by Strivo Capital OÜ (see the Legal notice).

What we offer

Two things, on purpose kept separate.

Free reference material — career roadmaps, certification guides and lessons. Public, readable without an account, and it stays that way. We do not gate it, trim it or move it behind a sign-up to make the paid product look better.

Courses, sold in packs — structured, exercise-driven and private. A pack is bought once, does not expire and is not a subscription. One pack is free and needs only an account.

Signing in does not unlock the free material, because it was never locked; it syncs your progress across devices and carries whatever you have bought. We may change or discontinue features, and the site is provided "as is" without warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.

Buying a course

Prices are listed on each pack and course page in US dollars, before tax. Any VAT, GST or sales tax that applies where you live is calculated and added at checkout, so the total there can be higher than the listed price — you see it in full, itemised, before you pay anything. Checkout may also offer to convert the total into your local currency at the rate applied at that moment.

Payment is handled by Stripe, which acts as merchant of record for this sale. That means Stripe — not us — is the seller of record to you: it takes the payment, calculates and collects the tax, remits it to your tax authority, and emails you the receipt and invoice. Purchases appear as "Sold through Link", Stripe's checkout service, and your card statement will show LINK.COM followed by our name rather than ours alone. We never see your card details.

Access opens as soon as the payment clears — usually seconds, occasionally a few minutes if your bank asks for confirmation. If you return from checkout before access arrives, the page says so and waits; it does not ask you to pay again.

A purchase is tied to your account, not to a device or a browser. It does not expire, and we do not charge you again for it. Sharing your account so others can read what you bought is the one use of it we ask you not to make.

Cancelling and refunds. You keep the full 14-day right of withdrawal — we do not ask you to waive it, even though access opens immediately and the law would let us. Write to us within 14 days and we refund in full, without asking how much of it you read. The Refunds and Right of Withdrawal page has the detail.

Accounts

Optional for reading, required to buy. Created through GitHub or Google. You are responsible for the security of the provider account you use. One account per person. You must be at least 16 to create one; below that age, a parent or guardian must be involved.

You can close your account yourself from your profile page. Deleting it removes your personal data and your progress. Records of purchases are kept in anonymised form, without anything that identifies you, because tax law requires us to keep proof of a sale — the Privacy Policy says exactly what survives. We may suspend accounts used abusively.

Acceptable use

Do not scrape or bulk-extract the content, do not attempt to break authentication or reach other people's data, do not republish our material as your own, and do not use the site to distribute malware. That is the whole list.

The site accepts no user submissions today — there are no comments, uploads or public profiles.

Content and licence

The text and design belong to Strivo Capital OÜ; you may read, quote and share with attribution. Code snippets in lessons are yours to use freely. Third-party trademarks and vendor exam objectives belong to their owners.

Buying a pack buys you personal access to read it, for as long as we run the site. It does not transfer ownership and does not come with a right to republish, resell or redistribute the lessons.

The important disclaimer

Our content is educational, not professional advice. Certification guides and exam-prep packs are independent study aids, not official vendor material, and passing an exam is never guaranteed — buying a course does not change that. Verify exam scope, cost and prerequisites with the vendor before paying for anything, ours included. Salary and market figures are sourced and dated, not promises.

Liability

To the fullest extent Estonian and EU law permit, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site. Nothing here excludes liability for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, and if you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

Changes, law and disputes

We update the date above when these terms change. A change never applies retroactively to a pack you have already bought: what you paid for is the pack as described on the day you bought it.

Estonian law governs these terms. EU consumers keep the protections of their country of residence and may use the EU online dispute resolution channels. Questions: legal@skillpilot.app.
